Me as a Therapist...
I support clients who express concerns relating to stress and anxiety, depression, family communication/parenting, grief and loss and emotion regulation, using a client-centered approach that focuses on your strengths as drivers for change.
My education, training and experience are in evidence informed approaches such as cognitive behaviour therapy, emotion focused family therapy, emotion focused skills training for parents, solution focused therapy and mindfulness. These approaches allow me to tailor interventions to suit your needs and your goals.
I hope that when a client chooses to work with me, I can help them feel understood and comfortable enough to have open and honest conversations about what is happening in their life. Despite the challenges you are facing, I believe that you have what it takes to achieve the goals you set in therapy.

My pronouns are she/her, I am a woman, a mother, a partner, a daughter, a sister….and many more roles that shape my identity. When my therapist hat comes off, you will find me recharging by doing the things that I love. For me, it doesn’t get better than spending quality time with my children and husband. I love to play tennis, hike the Niagara Escarpment, curl up with a good book and connect with my friends.
